Our Mission


With all the talk and focus on green living, the most important thing we can do now is to ensure the forests are conserved. All For The Forest will raise funds for non-profit organizations that are actively involved in land conservation in Costa Rica, such as Friends of Monteverde Cloud Forest and the Corcovado Foundation. We are also working on implementing community outreach programs where the local people of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica will be able to have a free community garden available to them, ensuring that they can still live off the land, while being sensitive to the jaguars and the other large cats of the jungle which have been rapidly declining due to over-hunting the prey of these magical creatures. The spirit of the forest is the jaguar. We can ensure their continued survival if we act fast. Energy flows where attention goes! We can actually save this magical garden as well as ourselves in the process! Please help.

Our goal, through the support of sponsors and donors such as YAHOO!, is to contribute to the conservation efforts of organizations that are presently working in Costa Rica to protect "one of the most biologically diverse areas of the world".

Why?

Costa Rica is located in an area referred to as the "lungs of the planet". This lush garden paradise was once 99 percent forest, but only 15 percent of the original forests remain in Costa Rica. Within these fragile ecosystems live some of this earth's most majestic creatures, many in which are on the brink of extinction. Without trees to provide the oxygen we breathe, we too face that threat.

Each day plants with undiscovered healing properties and the animals that live in symbiosis are lost from the Earth forever. The importance of tropical rainforests to the global ecosystem and human existence is paramount. We must act now to preserve what is left of our forests! You can be a part of preserving this bio-diverse kingdom.
